This seems really useful. I was thinking about this yesterday. Thanks!

This was suuuuuuch a good article. I scheduled three restacks and saved a quote. You seem like such a genuinely cool person. I rejoiced at the progress of all of them, which reflects that you genuinely cared.

The way you helped the third mentee by offering something you already packaged for free, really, really cool. This actually restored a little faith in humanity and if I just stay away from Facebook, I might be able to keep it. 😂

Definitely subscribing, Pascal. 👍🏾

Lmao thank you so much for the kind words.

And yes, the interesting thing that I still haven’t been able to answer is that I do this out of the kindness of my heart, yet somehow, it translates into business without me even wanting it to.

The real question, I guess here is then… is karma actually real?

This was a genuinely good read!

For the most part of it, I believe you’re a kind person!

I know a guy who spots talents and tries to invest in them early on and it’s something I’ve been trying to emulate..

This just gave me the clarity I needed, because I believe being able to spot people worth investing in is a skill we should develop!

I would do exactly the same. Not everything is money. And glad to see people like you do exist. Thankyou!!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, from a "business" perspective AND from a personal/identity perspective.

The humility of accepting that someone younger/newer/less experienced than you is objectively better than you, and then hiring them because of it is a hugely beneficial, yet surprisingly difficult pill to swallow. I believe more people would benefit from said pill and accept that, while they might be good at something, doesn't mean someone else isn't better.

On a different thought I had while reading, I love the idea of supporting, helping and showing others opportunities that you are aware of, that they might not be just because you can. Whether they are self-directed opportunities (such as your Nandu and the saifscales examples) or the pushing your friend to sort their own shit out.

To me it appears almost as "I know a guy" but without the negative connotations that usually surround people who say it. Sometimes YOU are the guy, sometimes I am the guy, sometimes the guy is a friend of mine and I think you two might benefit eachother, then sending them whichever way to enable their own version of their life/experience/desires.

If you enable others to do what they are trying to do, from a place of genuine want to help, then as you said, that reverberates and I can only imagine the levels of magnitude that change for each and every party involved.

Thank you for writing this, I have really enjoyed it.

Really helpful perspective on building connections from scratch. Thanks for breaking this down.

Love this. The natural progression from helping and being that person. 💪
